My wife had an '06 3 that made it through 8 winter's with no rust. We'd still have that one too, if we hadn't had a second kid.

My 06 3 only made it 6 winters. And I tried to keep it clean too. Shame, it was great and the most reliable car I’ve ever had.

Spotted in Chicago today - Pretty clean considering I think this yellow was a 2004 only color:

And one more I saw in Oak Park today 05 or 06 I think. Plate frames from a dealer in Naperville so it’s lived in the rust belt but pretty clean except a little accident damage. Just a little rust on the back wheels
